MaxMyCloud Inc. ("MaxMyCloud," "we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website maxmycloud.com and use our Snowflake cost optimization platform (collectively, the "Service"). Please read this policy carefully. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide to Us

When you create an account, request a demo, contact us, or use the Service, you may provide:

  • Account and contact information: name, email address, company name, job title, and phone number.
  • Payment information: billing address and payment card details. Payment card data is processed by our third-party payment processor and is not stored on MaxMyCloud servers.
  • Communications: messages, feedback, and support requests you send to us.

1.2 Snowflake Account Data We Access

To provide the Service, you grant MaxMyCloud read-only access to specific metadata within your Snowflake account. This access is strictly limited to:

  • Query history, execution times, and credit consumption (QUERY_HISTORY view)
  • Warehouse metering and usage data (WAREHOUSE_METERING_HISTORY view)
  • Storage consumption metrics (STORAGE_USAGE and TABLE_STORAGE_METRICS views)
  • Account-level cost and usage data (ACCOUNT_USAGE schema metadata)

MaxMyCloud does not access, read, copy, or store your underlying business data, database tables, schemas, or any personally identifiable information contained within your Snowflake data warehouse. We only access cost and performance metadata.

1.3 Automatically Collected Information

When you visit our website or use the Service, we automatically collect:

  • Log data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, and timestamps.
  • Device information: device type, screen resolution, and hardware model.
  • Usage data: features used, clicks, scrolling behavior, session duration, and navigation paths.
  • Cookie and tracking data: as described in Section 4 below.
2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Service and your account.
  • Process payments and manage your subscription.
  • Send transactional communications: account confirmations, billing receipts, and service updates.
  • Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support.

  • Measure and analyze the performance of our website and advertising campaigns (see Sections 3 and 4).
  • Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, security incidents, or violations of our Terms of Service.
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations.
3. Google Analytics and Google Ads Tracking

3.1 Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 ("GA4"), a web analytics service provided by Google LLC ("Google"). Google Analytics collects information about how visitors use our website, including pages visited, time spent on pages, traffic sources, and user behavior. This data is used by MaxMyCloud to understand and improve website performance and user experience.

Google Analytics collects data through cookies and similar tracking technologies placed on your device. The information generated (including your IP address) is transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google may use this data in accordance with its own Privacy Policy. Google Analytics is configured to anonymize IP addresses where technically possible.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking at any time by:

  • Installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, available at: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
  • Adjusting your browser's cookie settings to block analytics cookies (see Section 4).

3.2 Google Ads — Conversion Tracking

We use Google Ads conversion tracking to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns. When you click on one of our Google Ads and subsequently complete an action on our website — such as submitting a demo request form — a conversion tracking cookie is placed on your device. This cookie allows us to record that a conversion occurred and associate it with the specific ad that generated the visit.

Conversion tracking data tells us which ads, keywords, and campaigns are driving meaningful actions on our website. This data is shared with Google and governed by Google's Privacy Policy. The cookie used for conversion tracking expires after 90 days and does not identify you personally.

3.3 Google Ads — Remarketing

We use Google Ads remarketing to display MaxMyCloud advertisements to people who have previously visited our website as they browse other websites within the Google Display Network or conduct searches on Google. This is accomplished through the placement of a Google Ads remarketing tag (cookie) on your device when you visit our website.

This remarketing cookie enables Google to recognize your browser on other websites and display MaxMyCloud ads that may be relevant to your prior visit. The data collected through remarketing cookies does not identify you personally and is not combined with your account information unless you have explicitly provided it to Google.

You can opt out of Google's use of cookies for personalized advertising at any time by:

  • Visiting Google's Ad Settings at: adssettings.google.com
  • Visiting the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page at: networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp
  • Using the Digital Advertising Alliance's opt-out tool at: aboutads.info/choices
  • Adjusting your browser settings to block third-party cookies (see Section 4).

Note: opting out of personalized advertising does not mean you will stop seeing MaxMyCloud ads. You may still see our ads, but they will not be personalized based on your prior website visit.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

4.1 What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your web browser when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies including web beacons, pixel tags, and local storage. These technologies help us recognize your device, remember your preferences, and understand how you interact with our website.

This processing is done on the basis of legitimate interest, in line with Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. You may object to this processing or request access to your personal data at any time by contacting contact@maxmycloud.com If requested, we will delete your information and ensure no further processing occurs.

Business Transfers. If MaxMyCloud is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change.

Legal Requirements. We may disclose your information if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.

With Your Consent. We may share your information with other parties with your explicit consent.
